Dumpy Bag – Kiln Dried Softwood Logs

Our large builders bag of kiln dried softwood logs are filled to the brim, all of which are cut to an average of 25cm; containing a guaranteed moisture content of less than 20%.

Softwood burns hotter and faster than hardwood getting your room up to temperature quicker. It is a cost effective alternative value to hardwood, due to the quicker growth rates, this makes it a more sustainable wood fuel. Per kg, softwood logs have the same calorific output of the more expensive hardwood log.

All our softwood is a combination of Larch, Pine, Douglas Fir and spruce, all of which comes from locally sourced, well managed British woodlands.
